There is something great about our pub at Christmas time that will make even Scrooge himself feel the festive tingle. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with the twinkling lights, scent of mulled wine in the air, and then the roaring fires in both the bar & restaurant. If that doesn't quite do it for you then walk through to our restaurant where you will be greeted by the scent of festive feasts filling the air. Nothing is more important than the food and who you are celebrating this festive season with, whether that be a work gathering or a big family get together, we have something for you at The Black Horse. After all, we have been planning it all year!

Christmas day is the time for everyone to come together. Whoever your spending Christmas with this year, whether it be friends or family; make it extra special at The Black Horse. We have gone above and beyond this year and our head chef Tom and his chefs Jake & Rob have crafted a great menu focussing primarily on fresh ingredients based on tradition with a modern twist that evoke the best festive memories of Christmases growing up. So put your Christmas in our safe hands leaving you to prepare for everything else that Christmas involves!

Perfect for a catch up with friends or a work get together. All set over the perfect festive setting, with the choice of 2 or 3 courses and of course, including crackers. We will have a pre-order by the time your booking comes around so all that is left for you to do is sip on your drink and let us do the rest of the hard work while waiting for our expertly curated selection of festive food to come out. Whether you're getting the office together for a big celebration, or it's your job to organise a festive gathering with your friends, we've got you covered. We cater for all events with enough space to seat up to 80 people. So if you are looking for a formal sit down meal or something casual and a few drinks, get in touch.

Whether your celebrating the last 12 months or can't wait to welcome in the next 12 months, we've got you covered. Come on down and enjoy your last meal of the year then stay with us into 2026 with a DJ going early into the morning. We can't wait to see you show off your dance moves!

There is always that one person that is so difficult to shop for, why not gift them the gift of great food.
